ირაკლი კობახიძე

GD Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has stated that Georgia’s government is working toward an ambitious goal, to position the country among the top three in Europe in terms of low corruption levels.

Kobakhidze emphasized that the fight against corruption continues across all sectors, including both preventive reforms and the investigation of violations.

“In addition to the changes made in government activities and within state structures, we are also taking steps to investigate all possible violations of the law. The active fight against corruption will continue in all directions. Our ambitious goal is to take a place in the top three in Europe in terms of the lack of corruption with the steps that have already been taken and are being taken. I believe this goal is absolutely realistic,” Kobakhidze said.

GD Prime Minister highlighted that reforms implemented so far, alongside ongoing measures, strengthen transparency and accountability in governance, further reinforcing Georgia’s anti-corruption reputation internationally.
