According to the Union of Oil Products Importers: imports of gasoline and diesel fuel in Georgia amounted to 866.7 thousand tons in 9M2022, which was 12.2 thousand tons or 1.4% more compared to the figure of the same period last year (854.5 thousand tons).
Of which, the imports of gasoline fuel amounted to 442.9 thousand tons in 9M2022, and the imports of diesel fuel - 423.8 thousand tons.
According to categories, the import of gasoline fuel in the months of January-September 2022 was as follows: A-91 regular type gasoline - 270.6 thousand tons (61.1%); A-95 premium gasoline - 161.9 thousand tons (36.6%); A-98 super gasoline - 10.4 thousand tons (2.3%);
During 9 months of the current year, the largest volume of gasoline and diesel fuel was imported from Russia - 429.4 thousand tons, which is 49.5% of all imports. Followed by Romania - 195.4 thousand tons - 22.5%; Bulgaria - 98.2 thousand tons - 11.3%; Turkmenistan - 71.4 thousand tons - 8.2%; Azerbaijan - 55.3 thousand tons - 6.4%; Turkey - 7.6 thousand tons - 0.9%, Greece - 4.8 thousand tons - 0.5%, Kazakhstan - 2.0 thousand tons - 0.2%, etc.
