From May 1 to September 7, 2025, 25.6 thousand tons of peaches and plums were exported from Georgia, the total value of which amounted to 31.9 million USD.
Compared to the same period last year, the quantity of exported products increased by 12% (2.7 thousand tons), and the value by 19% (5.2 million USD) - the Ministry of Agriculture reports.
As a rule, the main export markets for peaches and plums are Russia, Ukraine and Armenia. The export statistics for the 4 months of the current year are as follows:
- Russia - 22 thousand tons;
- Ukraine - 2.4 thousand tons;
- Armenia - 637 tons;
- Belarus - 394 tons;
- Latvia - 158 tons;
- Moldova - 40 tons;
- Kazakhstan - 18 tons;
- Poland - 18 tons.
