Georgia exported 147.7 million liters of mineral water worth $100.5 million in the first half of 2026, according to Geostat. Compared to the same period last year, export value increased by 12%, while export volume rose by 7.8%.
Russia remained the largest export market, importing 84.8 million liters worth $45.9 million. It was followed by Kazakhstan with $18.2 million (20.4 million liters) and Ukraine with $11.6 million (13.9 million liters).
Other major export destinations included Lithuania ($5.4 million), Uzbekistan ($4.2 million), Moldova ($2.1 million), Germany ($2 million), Belarus ($1.3 million), Israel ($1.17 million), and Kyrgyzstan ($1.11 million).
Mineral water imports also increased, although they remained negligible compared to exports. During January–June 2026, Georgia imported 219,300 liters worth $251,000, up 85.7% in value and 62.9% in volume year-on-year.
Italy was Georgia's largest supplier, accounting for $146,000 worth of imports, followed by Russia ($63,000), Ukraine ($18,000), Armenia ($8,000), and Germany ($7,000).
