During the 2025 season, Georgia exported 11,700 tons of walnuts, generating $117.4 million in revenue, the Ministry of Agriculture reported. The period covered by the statistics is from August 1, 2025, to January 13, 2026.
Compared to the same period last year, the volume of exported walnuts increased by 171.4 tons, while revenue grew by $48.8 million, marking a 71% rise. The average export price per kilogram reached $10.06, up 69% from last year.
Italy remains the largest importer of Georgian walnuts, receiving 3,700 tons, followed by Spain with 1,300 tons, Germany with 786.3 tons, and France with 617.6 tons.
In addition, Georgian walnuts are being actively exported to Syria, Armenia, Greece, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Poland.
The Ministry highlighted that the strong performance reflects growing international demand and the high quality of Georgian walnuts.
