In 2025, Georgia recorded a historic high grape harvest, while the production of other fruits declined.
According to preliminary data from GeoStat, the country produced 205.6 thousand tons of fruit (excluding grapes and citrus), which is 15.6% less than in 2024.
Breakdown by fruit category:
- Pome fruits – 72.3 thousand tons (−19.3%)
- Stone fruits – 53.3 thousand tons (−30.5%)
- Nut-bearing fruits – 53.9 thousand tons (+2.7%)
- Subtropical fruits – 17.4 thousand tons (+1.2%)
- Berries – 8.7 thousand tons (+16%)
Meanwhile, grape production reached a record 347.4 thousand tons, marking an 8.3% increase compared to 2024.
Citrus production decreased slightly by 0.4% to 55 thousand tons.
