Georgia’s government has officially updated its visa regulations, introducing the new C5 category visa, approved by Parliament in April and now reflected in a government decree.
The C5 visa is designed specifically for high-income remote workers and is issued as a multiple-entry short-term visa valid for 5 years, while allowing a 1-year stay in Georgia per entry. Applications are submitted through the e-VISA PORTAL, and the visa is issued electronically.
According to the regulation, standard processing time for a C5 visa is 5 working days, while in cases requiring additional review, the decision can take up to 10 working days.
The fee for reviewing a C5 electronic visa application, processed through the Ministry’s Consular and Diaspora Department via the e-VISA system, is set at $300.
