The Roads Department of Georgia’s Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure has announced five tenders to prepare design and cost-estimate documentation for the rehabilitation of 312 km of roads. The estimated total value of the procurements is GEL 15.52 million, covering 32 road sections.
The largest tender, NAT260020518, is valued at GEL 4.12 million and covers 83.5 km, including sections of the Khobi-Sajijao-Lesichine, Khobi-Akhaltsopeli, Martvili-Taleri-Chkhorotsku, Zugdidi-Jikhashkari-Chkhorotsku, Senaki-Poti-Sarpi and Kutaisi-Tskaltubo-Tskaltubo-Tsageri-Lentekhi-Lasdili roads. NAT260020517, worth GEL 3.75 million, covers 75.7 km, including sections on the Didi Dmanisi-Dmanisi-Gomareti-Bediani and Imera-Bareti-Tejisi-Chivtkilisa-Khachkoi-Gumbati-Avranlo routes, as well as two access roads near Samshvilde.
NAT260020515 is valued at GEL 2.75 million and covers design work for 54.6 km of roads, including sections of the Sajavakho-Chokhatauri-Ozurgeti-Kobuleti, Lentekhi-Bavari, Vani-Sulori, Khoni-Matkhoji-Martvili, Dzedzileti-Gelaveri and Kutaisi-Tkibuli-Ambrolauri routes. Two other tenders cover roads in eastern Georgia: NAT260020511, worth GEL 2.42 million, covers 48.7 km, while NAT260020509, worth GEL 2.48 million, covers 49.5 km, including sections of the Mtskheta-Stephantsminda-Larsi, Gldani-Tianeti, Tbilisi Bypass, Dusheti-Mchadijvari-Odzisi and Khashuri-Surami-Rikoti Tunnel Bypass roads.
Under the tender terms, the first two procurements have a maximum completion period of 12 months, while the remaining three must be completed within 10 months. Bidders must have completed similar services worth at least GEL 4.96 million during the relevant period, including at least GEL 1.24 million in design services within a single calendar year.
