Georgian brand Wigs’ Room plans to expand into the regions, with its next branch scheduled to open in western Georgia. The company has not yet disclosed the location or the investment required. Founder Gvantsa Inasaridze told BMGTV’s program Women’s Narrative that expansion is driven by customer demand, as some buyers face difficulties accessing products due to distance and travel time.
Alongside opening physical stores, the company is updating its website to enable customers to select and virtually try on wigs remotely. The planned service is expected to make products more accessible to customers across Georgia and abroad.
The company also plans to expand its production facilities, upgrade equipment and train new employees. Its manufacturing site is located in a village in Gardabani municipality. Inasaridze said the business has helped women with no prior experience acquire professional skills and employment opportunities. Wigs’ Room currently employs 25 people and expects its workforce to grow as production expands.
Wigs’ Room produces wigs using natural Caucasian hair. Its customers include cancer patients and people with alopecia, but the company also aims to promote wigs for aesthetic purposes, including use in television, theater and film. Inasaridze said she wants wigs to be seen as products for a wider range of customers, rather than being associated exclusively with medical needs.
