Georgian Foreign Minister to Visit Armenia on Official Trip

On January 30, Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Bochorishvili will arrive in Armenia for an official visit. As part of the trip, she will meet with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, after which the two ministers will hold a joint press conference.

According to the Armenian Foreign Ministry’s press service, the talks will begin at 9:00 AM with a bilateral meeting, followed by an expanded session with delegations from both countries at 9:20 AM. After the discussions, at 10:00 AM, the foreign ministers will hold a joint press conference to present key outcomes of the negotiations.

BMG recalls that in January 2024, Armenia and Georgia signed a strategic partnership agreement.

The governments of both countries have expressed their commitment to strengthening trade and economic relations. It was noted that trade between Georgia and Armenia is growing, with bilateral trade turnover exceeding $1 billion. According to Georgian authorities, approximately 1 million Armenian tourists visited Georgia last year.
