The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Germany, Annalena Baerbock, responds to the Georgian Parliament's move to override the President's veto on the law "On Transparency of Foreign Influence" and states that the Georgian government is moving the country away from Europe.
According to her, it is never too late to change course.
"The government of Georgia once again ignores the wishes of the vast majority who take to the streets every day for a European future and is moving the country away from Europe. It's never too late to change course," Baerbock wrote on Platform X.
The Parliament overrode the President's veto on the law "On transparency of foreign influence". The draft law presented by the Georgian Dream faction and vetoed by Salome Zourabichvili was supported by 84 votes.
