Georgia’s cinnamon imports declined sharply in 2025. According to January–November data, the country imported 27 tons of cinnamon worth $92,000, marking a significant decrease compared to the previous year.
In the same period of 2024, Georgia imported 34 tons valued at $136,000. This means the value of cinnamon imports has fallen by 32.3%, while the imported volume is down by 20.5% year-on-year.
Vietnam emerged as Georgia’s largest cinnamon supplier in 2025, exporting 11 tons worth $22,000 to the country. Ukraine ranked second with $18,000 worth of cinnamon, though the volume was only 1 ton. Bulgaria took third place with 3 tons valued at $17,000.
The top five suppliers also included the United Arab Emirates (6 tons, $12,000) and Turkey (40 kilograms, $5,000).
