Georgia imported $33.67 million worth of cosmetics and skincare products in January–April 2026, up from $27.64 million a year earlier, according to official statistics. The physical volume also increased slightly to 1,041 tons, reflecting steady demand growth in the personal care segment.
Despite the modest rise in quantity, prices increased more sharply. The average cost per ton climbed to $32,333, up from $27,610 last year—an increase of about 17%, indicating that imported beauty and skincare products have become significantly more expensive.
France remained the largest supplier with $8.7 million worth of exports to Georgia, followed by Germany, Italy, the United States, and Poland. Other key suppliers included South Korea, Spain, Russia, Israel, and Turkey, showing a diversified import structure.
