In the first half of 2025, Georgia exported 68 tons of ice cream worth USD 767,000, a 392% increase compared to the same period in 2024, when exports totaled 16 tons worth USD 156,000.
This year, exports went only to Azerbaijan (47 tons, USD 516,000) and Armenia (20 tons, USD 251,000).
Imports, however, far exceeded exports: 849 tons worth USD 4.6 million were imported in January–June, up 19.2% from last year’s 691 tons worth USD 3.8 million.
Turkey remained Georgia’s main ice cream supplier, providing 209 tons worth USD 1.5 million (33% of imports), followed by Ukraine (USD 908,000, 213 tons), Russia (USD 585,000, 77 tons), Armenia (USD 415,000, 107 tons) and France (USD 379,000, 63 tons).
