The head of the European Union Monitoring Mission in Armenia, Markus Ritter, met with the director of the Berlin Center for International Peace Operations, Astrid Irgang.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the mandate and activities of the EU mission in Armenia, as well as the deployment of German experts to the mission.
In a statement published on the EU mission's X microblog, it was noted: "Mission head Markus Ritter met with Dr. Astrid Irgang, head of the Berlin Center for International Peace Operations, to discuss the mandate and activities of the EU Monitoring Mission in Armenia, as well as the issue of deploying German experts to the mission."
It was also emphasized that Germany has the largest contingent in the mission, consisting of 27 members.
