Germany's business sentiment in April improved slightly to 93.6 from 93.2 in the previous month, data from a Munich-based research institute showed on Monday.
The increase stemmed from “improved expectations”, the Ifo Institute for Economic Research said, adding: "However, companies assessed their current situation as a little worse.
"German business’s worries are abating, but the economy is still lacking dynamism," it said.
The confidence index rose in manufacturing and in construction, and dropped in the service and trade sectors, AA reports.
