Giorgi Gureshidze, who has been leading the Retail Banking division of Bank of Georgia since March 2025, has been appointed Deputy CEO. The appointment is subject to regulatory approval.
Gureshidze brings extensive professional experience. Between 2017 and 2023, he held several roles at Georgia Global Utilities, including Investment Analyst, Head of Financial Analysis and Research, Head of Strategic Projects and Business Development, and ultimately Chief Financial Officer from 2020 to 2023.
He began his career as an auditor at Deloitte and later worked at TBC Bank as an Investor Relations Manager. Gureshidze holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Global Affairs from Yale University.
Bank of Georgia CEO Archil Gachechiladze said Gureshidze’s promotion is a natural continuation of his strong performance within the organization.
