GNERC Commissioner Giorgi Pangani Reported GEL 232,885 in Salary Income in 2025

Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission (GNERC) Commissioner Giorgi Pangani reported GEL 232,885 in salary income for 2025, according to his asset declaration filed on February 5, 2026. The declaration states that Pangani is married and has six children.

According to the filing, Pangani received GEL 227,033.52 and GEL 5,852.43 in remuneration as a GNERC commissioner during 2025. His wife, Tamar Zhizhiashvili, earned GEL 28,944 as a chief specialist at SOCAR Gas Distribution.

The declaration shows Pangani holds GEL 15,000 in cash savings. At the time of filing, he had an overdraft of GEL 2,270.6 on his TBC Bank salary account and GEL 4,650 in debt on a Bank of Georgia credit account. His Bank of Georgia savings accounts contained GEL 1,639.11 and small balances of €6.85 and €2.18.

According to the declaration, Zhizhiashvili owns a 600-square-meter land plot in Kojori, purchased in 2017, as well as an Audi Q5 bought for $10,000 in 2018 and an Infiniti QX60 purchased for $15,000 in 2022. She also owns a 55% stake in Agroline LLC, which generated no income in 2025. The declaration states that the family does not own an apartment or other residential real estate.
