Late in August, "Gorgia" will open a new branch in Sachkhere as well. As the general director of the company, Tornike Guruli, said in a conversation with BMG, their plans for the nearest period include opening of additional branches in Poti and Zestaponi.
"Our products are most in demand along with Tbilisi, Batumi, Kutaisi and Kakheti region, namely in Telavi. This is probably due to the fact that many hotels and chateaus have opened in the city. The Anaklia area is active, so we are still thinking about expansion in Samegrelo. At this stage, we have one store in Zugdidi. We are thinking about opening a new branch in Poti soon, we have already selected the area. I also want to tell you exclusively that the next branch will be opened in Sachkhere. We didn't have a store here before, but we think we will be able to please the population and open a new branch in Sachkhere as well.
We are thinking about business diversification and we assume that we will invest several million GEL. We are thinking of developing one market in Sachkhere, and the next stop will be Poti and Zestaponi. In these two regions, we don't want to be represented only by the space of "Gorgia" and we want to make a shopping center like the one we have in Telavi, where there is a multi-brand shopping center", Tornike Guruli said while talking to "Business Morning".
The company currently manages 13 hypermarkets across the country. Tornike Guruli notes that the demand for their products is high in the capital as well as in the regions.
