On Friday, September 6, Armenia’s Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan held a meeting with Satya Anand, Regional President for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa at Marriott International.
The meeting took place during Anand’s visit to Armenia to attend the opening ceremony of the new Courtyard by Marriott hotel complex.
During the conversation, Grigoryan emphasized the importance of reputable international companies being present in Armenia, noting their key role in fostering a healthy business culture in the country.
The Deputy Prime Minister specifically praised Marriott International’s long-standing operations in Armenia, calling it exemplary.
The discussion covered a wide range of topics related to the development of tourism and the service sector in Armenia. Both sides exchanged views on current industry trends, assessed the potential for growth, and explored opportunities for new Marriott projects in the country.
