A detailed report for 2024 budget performance has already been published in the system of the State Audit Office. According to the document, the amount spent on bonuses and supplements last year increased to 527 million GEL, which exceeded the 2023 figure by 114 million GEL, or 28%.
Of this amount, 473 million GEL were for supplements, and 54 million GEL were bonuses. The Ministry of Internal Affairs is in first place in terms of both supplements and bonuses, where 169 million GEL in supplements and 16 million GEL in bonuses were issued.
Compared to 2023, the volume of bonuses and supplements issued by the Ministry of Internal Affairs has increased by 51 million GEL.
Largest agencies by bonuses and supplements:
- Ministry of Internal Affairs - total bonus supplements - 185 million GEL, an increase of 51 million GEL;
- State Security Service of Georgia - Total bonus supplement - 29.2 million GEL, an increase of 3.3 million GEL;
- General courts - 27.2 million GEL, an increase of 2.9 million GEL;
- Ministry of Justice - 22.1 million GEL, an increase of 10.5 million GEL;
- Special State Protection Service - 16 million GEL, an increase of 3.2 million GEL.
As for the salaries of non-staff employees, they increased to 606 million GEL in 2024, this amount has increased by 78 million GEL annually.
