The Government of Georgia will take out GEL 13.3 billion from the business and taxpayers in 2022, - according to the adjusted draft budget for 2022.
As of the updated draft budget for 2022, now the government plans to collect taxes of GEL 220 million more compared to the initial version of the draft budget.
According to specific taxes, the plan is distributed as follows:
● Income Tax - GEL 4.27 billion, an increase of GEL 9.6 million compared to the first version of the draft budget;
● Value Added Tax - GEL 5.36 billion, increase of GEL 5.8 million compared to the first version of the draft budget;
● Profit Tax - GEL 1.56 billion, increase of GEL 201 million compared to the first version of the draft budget;
● Excise Tax - GEL 1.87 billion, increase of GEL 2.1 million compared to the first version of the draft budget;
● Import Tax - GEL 84.5 million, increase of GEL 0.4 million compared to the first version of the draft budget;
● Other Taxes - GEL 130 million, an increase of GEL 0.6 million compared to the first version of the draft budget.
