Gudauri Inn expanded and a high-class building was added to the tourist facility. Erekle Kokaia, Executive Director of Inn Group, spoke about this with BM.GE.
According to him, 30 additional high-class rooms, a spa center, a jacuzzi and a swimming pool have been added to the tourist facility. The company invested approximately 4 million GEL in the project.
“The expansion of Gudauri Inn has been completed. We have added a new 5-star building, which includes 30 rooms. The area of the room is approximately 45 sq.m. and the cost of accommodation, including breakfast, ranges from USD 140 to USD 200 per night. In addition, the building includes a spa center, jacuzzi and a swimming pool.
We have not yet calculated the final investment, although the implementation of this new project cost approximately 4 million GEL,” says the executive director of Inn Group.
According to him, at this stage, the hotel is 100% occupied. However, Kokaia adds that European flows have decreased. At the same time, tourists are becoming more active, mainly from Israel, Asian and Arab countries. In addition, Georgian customers are actively visiting on weekends.
Erekle Kokaia, in his forecast for the next month, says that February is the best month for Gudauri. Thus, it is assumed that the occupancy rate in February will be up to 80%, which is a slight decrease compared to the same period last year.
