Guram Okropiridze has been appointed as the new head of the Tbilisi Kindergarten Management Agency, Mayor Kakha Kaladze announced ahead of the capital’s government session.
Okropiridze replaces Kakha Abuladze, who was appointed Deputy Mayor of Tbilisi on September 24.
“As you know, about a month ago, Kakha Abuladze, who previously served as head of the Kindergarten Management Agency, was appointed one of my deputies. The position had remained vacant until now, and Guram Okropiridze will take over the role,” said Kaladze.
According to the mayor, Guram Okropiridze holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the joint English-language program of Tbilisi State University and Speyer University of Administrative Sciences. He has been a member of the Tbilisi City Council (Sakrebulo) since 2021, serving as Chairman of the Sports and Youth Affairs Commission, and previously worked in the private sector.
