Health Minister Ekaterine Tikaradze declares, that Remdesivir will enter Georgia for treatment of COVID-19 before the end of December.
“Remdesivir will be on the place before the end of December and treatment with this medicine will be accessible for our citizens. There are important procedures, which we cannot violate and consequently, we follow the protocol of the World Health Organization," - said the Minister.
According to her, the issue of using Remdesivir is to be decided by the clinical group.
"The clinical group puts the use of Remdesivir in the protocol, when the drug might be used. Negotiations are underway and a protocol will be established in accordance with the joint decision," Tikaradze said.
