“It is a very important platform where we have the opportunity to engage with European leaders. Yesterday, we also had the chance to speak with several leaders during the dinner,” said GD Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze ahead of the European Political Community (EPC) Summit.
According to the GD Prime Minister, the Georgian delegation is discussing with European leaders how the country can advance its path toward European integration.
Additionally, Kobakhidze noted that the summit’s panel discussion will focus on economic interests, including Georgia’s transit potential.
“Everywhere we engage, we emphasize our national interests and our vision for moving forward on European integration, which remains a top priority of our foreign policy. Yesterday, we exchanged ideas with leaders, and today we will use this platform to further discuss our national interests with European partners. The panel discussion will center on the economy and Europe’s economic interests, including connectivity and mineral resources. Georgia has significant potential in these areas, particularly in transit, and we will address this with our European partners,” Kobakhidze said.
