Despite that Mamuka Khazaradze tries to convince that the government has not done anything linked to Anaklia Project, the state is true by 100% towards the business group. Instead of talking about the corruption, we should learn to fulfill the obligations, - Former Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Gakharia told TV Pirveli.
According to the former Prime Minister, Mamuka Khazaradze politically uses Anaklia Project and that is not correct.
“I am sure that Mamuka Khazaradze damaged strategic project of Anaklia Port for some time, but for God’s sake it is not everlasting”, Gakharia said.
According to the former PM, he tried to defend Anaklia Project at the international level.
“I personally tried to defend this project at the international level in order to end it up. Because, we know how important this project is for the country”, - Gakharia declared.
The Government of Georgia terminated an agreement with Anaklia Development Consortium in 2020. The official reason was the non-fulfillment of obligations under the contract.
