Iashvili Hospital has become the first pediatric center in the region to receive international accreditation by the American Accreditation Commission International (AACI).
The American Accreditation Commission's several-month work process and periodic monitoring have been successfully completed. This accomplishment has led to the hospital's international acknowledgment, indicating adherence to Western standards of medical service excellence and fostering continuous advancements in patient safety and quality of care.
In 2022, amid an extensive renovation project, Iashvili Hospital made a public commitment to ongoing progress, aiming to establish the clinic as the primary pediatric center within the region, complete with international accreditation. The hospital's renovation initiative also adhered to American guidelines for its infrastructural enhancements.
“I extend my congratulations to the medical personnel at Iashvili Hospital and the entire nation for achieving this remarkable milestone. The international accreditation secured by Iashvili Hospital ensures that young patients and their families can access full-fledged, international level pediatric medical services in the region. Noteworthy is the fact that Iashvili Hospital has become the first internationally accredited pediatric center not just in Georgia, but across the entire South Caucasus region," - stated Tamar Vakhtangadze, Director of Iashvili Hospital.
