Today, on March 25th, the prime ministers of Georgia and Armenia Irakli Kobakhidze and Nikol Pashinyan opened a new building of the Georgian embassy in Yerevan.
The ceremony was attended by the ambassador of Georgia to Armenia Giorgi Sharvashidze.
The embassy building was acquired by the Georgian side in 2024.
According to the Georgian embassy's announcement, for the first time the country has an embassy in the Republic of Armenia, the building of which belongs to Georgia.
The new embassy building is located in the central part of the city, where offices of other diplomatic missions are situated. It includes reception areas for citizens, office spaces, and conference halls.
During the design of the building, ethnic and cultural features of both countries were taken into account.
