GD Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze met with Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan. According to the government administration, during the face-to-face meeting, the parties emphasized the importance of the strategic partnership between the two countries and spoke about the issues to be discussed within the framework of the 14th session of the Intergovernmental Commission for Economic Cooperation.
Attention was paid to the current situation in the region and the progress of the peace process. Irakli Kobakhidze once again confirmed the readiness of the Georgian government to promote dialogue and contribute to ensuring stability and peace in the region, which is necessary for the further development of the countries.
The parties also emphasized the high-level dialogue between the two countries in various formats and close cooperation in many areas, which contributes to the further deepening of bilateral relations.
It was noted that the next session of the Intergovernmental Commission for Economic Cooperation Economic will contribute to the further expansion of trade and economic ties between the two countries and the full utilization of the existing potential in this regard.
Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze invited his Armenian counterpart to pay an official visit to Georgia.
