Issues of tax and budget policy discussed under the chairmanship of the prime minister of Armenia

On Friday, May 24, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, to discuss the tax and budgetary framework of the medium-term expenditure program for 2025-2027.

According to the press service of the Prime Minister's Office of Armenia, details were presented regarding the expenditures in the main areas of the Government of the Republic of Armenia's program for 2025-2027, as well as the discussion of capital expenditures and the overall budget framework.

During the meeting, ideas were exchanged, and proposals and comments on the aforementioned topics were voiced.

The Prime Minister gave relevant instructions to the responsible departments.

Earlier, BMG reported that the state budget indicators of Armenia for the first quarter of 2024 reflected an increase in revenues by 38.1 billion drams (approximately $100 million). However, the fulfillment of the state revenue plan was 93.2%, with tax revenues and state duties falling short at 92%.
