“Georgia values and commits to its collaboration with the OSCE; we have cherished this partnership throughout the years,” GD Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told reporters.

Kobakhidze commented on the upcoming visit of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Finland’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Elina Valtonen, to Georgia.

“The meeting is scheduled for tomorrow, during which we will discuss all pertinent issues with Finland’s Foreign Minister, who will be arriving under the auspices of the OSCE. Georgia’s commitment to working with the OSCE remains steadfast; we have prioritised this cooperation consistently. It was of great importance to us that the OSCE/ODIHR issued a positive assessment of the elections. As a result, the OSCE was criticised not only by the domestic radical opposition but also by their foreign backers. Once again, we will emphasise our dedication to strengthening our partnership with the OSCE. We aim to deepen and energise this cooperation, and we are fully open to dialogue,” he stated.

The OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Finland’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Elina Valtonen, is scheduled to visit Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Georgia from October 13 to 15, the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) announced in a statement.
