Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze reports, that the main Christmas tree of the capital will be lit on Saturday, December 14.
As Kaladze mentioned in the video address, festive lights will be turned on gradually throughout the city on Saturday.
"As you know, preparations for the holiday have started in the capital, which are actually in the final stage. New Year's lights are installed on all central avenues, except Rustveli.
As for Rustaveli Avenue, the works of decoration with illuminations will start a little later. I would like to inform the population of our country that the main Christmas tree of the capital will be lit on Saturday, December 14, and festive lights will be gradually switched on throughout the city," Kaladze said.
In addition, according to Kaladze, there will definitely be peace and development in the country and all steps will be taken on the path of European integration.
"I want to tell you that Tbilisi will continue to be the most magical, beautiful, New Year's decorated city, where people, our children, will have a feeling of happiness and joy. Of course, children will see a real holiday and have fun, all the conditions will be created for this.
