"Gotsiridze metro station will probably be opened by next week," Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze told the media.
According to him, specific errors were found, which, in fact, have been corrected.
"Expertise was carried out, defects were determined, which have actually been corrected and will be submitted to the relevant service for commissioning in a few days", Kaladze says.
Early in November, it became known that the company "Mamisoni", performing the rehabilitation works of "Gotsiridze" metro station, was fined GEL 600,000. According to Irakli Khmaladze, the vice-mayor of Tbilisi, this company delayed the execution of works by 4-5 months, which was a very big violation.
In a conversation with bm.ge, the shareholder of Mamisoni company, Nikoloz Chkadua, stated that the company only asked for an extension of the works by 60 days and that's why he was fined. According to him, the extension of the rehabilitation works of "Gotsiridze" metro station was related to reasons independent from them.
