“There are more and more Israeli Film and TV production companies coming here to shoot” – said Israeli Ambassador to Georgia, Hadas Meitzad who visited BMG TV.
„The fact is that Ukraine is no longer as available as it used to be. But I'm very happy to learn about more and more TV series or movie production taking place here in Georgia“, - said Ambassador Meitzad.
To the question – of which sectors might be attractive for Israeli investors to invest in Georgia – Ms. Meitzad underlines IT and innovation.
“I feel that we need to constantly look for opportunities to bring together businesspeople from both sides, to work together and to develop both economies together”, - she said.
In the first 3Q2022, approximately USD 23 million were invested from Israel to Georgia, while USD 25 million were invested from this country in 2021. As for the statistics of previous years, in 2020 an investment of USD 11 million came to Georgia from Israel, and in 2019 - USD 24 million.
