The National Wine Agency of Georgia is planning to construct an additional building, according to an electronic tender published on July 2. The project envisions a structure similar to the agency’s existing facility, with a total estimated cost of 1,584,001 GEL.
The tender process will begin on July 18 and conclude on July 23. The new two-story building will be located in Tbilisi on Marshal Gelovani Avenue, next to the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture complex.
According to the documentation, the facility will include wine sample reception areas, tasting halls, storage rooms, and other infrastructure meeting modern standards. The second floor will house offices, meeting rooms, a kitchen, and additional working spaces, with access provided via both internal stairs and an elevator. The building will also feature two separate entrances—one for general access and another dedicated to wine sample deliveries.
The design will match the existing building’s architectural style, using similar facade materials, white-painted walls, brown metal-plastic windows, and a pitched roof with natural tiles. The project also includes landscaping works, covered parking areas, and recreational green zones. Construction is expected to take approximately 18 months.
