On Wednesday, October 23, Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan held an official meeting in Yerevan with the Georgian Ambassador Giorgi Sharvashidze to mark the appointment of the new military attaché.
During the meeting, Minister Papikyan warmly welcomed the new military attaché, Lieutenant Colonel Teimuraz Maisuradze, wishing him success in developing and strengthening cooperation between the defense departments of the two countries.
The parties discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation in the defense sector, with special attention given to regional security issues and relevant international developments.
