“The planned New Year’s Eve festivities will be held at First Republic Square over a span of 27 days,” announced Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze during today’s municipal government session.

“From December 12 to January 7, Tbilisi City Hall has planned a variety of entertaining and spectacular events. Thematically curated New Year’s spaces will, as ever, be filled with cultural, educational, and children’s activities, along with a range of thematic events and concerts across different genres,” said Kakha Kaladze.

Tbilisi Mayor also mentioned that the central Christmas tree will be lit up on December 12.

“On December 12, alongside the lighting of the central Christmas tree, festive illuminations will be switched on throughout the city. First Republic Square, beautifully decorated for the occasion, will be open to residents and visitors from that day. Once again, I would like to invite private companies and the business community to join us in creating the magical New Year’s atmosphere across the city, both in the New Year’s Village and in squares and parks throughout Tbilisi,” added Kakha Kaladze.
