Non-residential construction became the most expensive segment in Georgia in November 2025. According to the Construction Cost Index (CCI) published today by GeoStat, the index increased by 0.5% compared to the previous month and by 5.2% year-on-year.
Breakdown by segments shows:
- Residential construction costs increased by 0.9% month-on-month and by 7.9% compared to the same month last year.
- Non-residential construction costs saw the sharpest rise — up 1.7% month-on-month and 10.7% year-on-year.
- Civil engineering costs decreased by 0.4% compared to the previous month but increased by 0.9% annually.
According to GeoStat, the annual rise in construction costs was largely driven by an increase in the average monthly nominal wages of employees working in the construction sector.
