რესტორნები

According to TBC Capital, non-cash spending in restaurants through TBC Bank channels increased by 42% year-on-year in December 2025, with the average transaction reaching GEL 36. The data shows strong activity from both residents and non-residents during the month.

Residents accounted for 68% of total non-cash restaurant spending, while non-residents made up the remaining 32%. Spending by residents grew 26% compared to December 2024, with an average transaction size of GEL 27.

Non-resident spending, however, increased much more sharply — by 94% year-on-year. Their average transaction reached GEL 140, meaning non-resident diners spent about five times more per transaction than resident customers.

TBC Capital notes that the significant rise in non-resident spending highlights strong tourism-driven demand in the restaurant sector at the end of 2025.
