The City Hall has announced that this year’s Tbilisoba City Fest will take place primarily at Orbeliani Square and Rike Park, with events scheduled for September 20-21, ahead of the October 4 local elections.
Mayor Kakha Kaladze shared details during a municipal government meeting, noting that the festival will feature a variety of cultural, entertainment, and children’s programs.
On September 20, the State Palace of Ceremonies will host the traditional award ceremony for honorable Tbilisi residents, which will also be broadcast on television. The following day, a gala concert will take place at Europe Square.
In addition, Orbeliani Square will host exhibitions, theatrical performances, and entertainment programs for both days. The Abanotubani district will feature the exhibition-sale “Tbilisi Diversity”, while Rike Park will showcase children’s performances and a concert with Georgian pop artists.
Mayor Kaladze added that the municipality will provide a detailed program of the events in the coming days.
