The primary objective of tomorrow’s party congress is to choose a new party chairperson. Additionally, there will be a GD Political Council meeting where the candidate for Prime Minister will be introduced, Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili told the media.
“Tomorrow is an important day not only for the Georgian Dream but also for Georgian society and our country,” Papuashvili said.
According to Papuashvili, the parliament’s goal is for the government to be fully staffed within the next week.
“After the nomination and approval of the Prime Minister’s candidacy in the Political Council, the process will move to the parliament, where the faction will present the candidate. We aim to have the government fully staffed within the next week and approved by the end of the same week,” said Shalva Papuashvili regarding the new Cabinet and its program’s approval.
