Hotel Gudauri Inn works at 70%-load during the active tourist season of 2024.
Commercial director of "Inn hospitality", Nino Gachechiladze, told bm.ge that they have guests from the local market, as well as from EU, Gulf countries and Israel.
"In the case of the Gudauri hotel during the winter season for 2024, the occupancy is quite high, although we are still far from the figures of 2019. We hope that we will have these figures in 2024. In the busiest period, during the New Year, we should have been 70% occupied according to bookings, but due to bad weather conditions, it was physically impossible to pick up vacationers from Tbilisi to Gudauri.
As for geography, we have visitors from European countries and the Persian Gulf, and it is especially gratifying that Israeli bookings have also been restored. Slowly, tourists started arriving from the most important destination for us. We have a large number of vacationers from the local market.
We expect that the workload will continue at this pace in February," said Nino Gachechiladze.
According to her, the prices in Gudauri Inn do not differ from restaurants in Tbilisi.
"As for the prices, it is clear that the main determining factor in the price formation of all facilities is the expenditure. In addition, we take into account the economic background in the country, the purchasing power of our guests, and in this way we agree the price with the travel agencies. I would like to say that the price in our hotel restaurant does not differ from Tbilisi restaurants. The price of accommodation in a standard double room is GEL 210, which I think is relevant for the price of a 4-star hotel of this category," Gachechiladze told bm.ge.
