Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze attended the summit “Sport for Sustainable Development” in Paris along with the heads of state and government of the participating countries of the Olympic Games in Paris, France.
The event, organized by the French Development Agency (AFD), was opened with a speech by Rémy Rioux, Director General of AFD.
The summit participants were addressed by Thomas Bach, President of the International Olympic Committee and Emmanuel Macron, President of France.
The event hosted around 500 participants, including heads of state and governments, as well as representatives of international organizations and sports federations.
The Prime Minister of Georgia also attended a gala reception held in honor of the visiting state leaders of the Paris Olympics opening ceremony at the Louvre, organized by Thomas Bach, President of the International Olympic Committee.
