Georgia is committed to deepening its relations, partnership, and friendship with Turkmenistan, Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said during a joint press briefing with Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedow in Tbilisi.
Kobakhidze highlighted the importance of bilateral cooperation across political, economic, educational, and cultural areas, saying that the two countries’ partnership is based on mutual respect and support. He also thanked Turkmenistan for its support for Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
According to the Prime Minister, President Berdimuhamedow’s visit will give new momentum to the development of relations between the two countries and contribute to expanding cooperation in various fields.
Kobakhidze expressed confidence that the agreements reached during the visit would further strengthen friendly ties between Georgia and Turkmenistan and benefit both nations and their citizens.
