Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili participates in the World Leaders Summit of the 28th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP28) in Dubai.
President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and UN Secretary-General António Guterres met the Georgian PM at Dubai Expo, which hosts the conference.
The PM attended the summit opening. UAE President, UN Secretary-General, and King of the United Kingdom, Charles III addressed the summit participants.
Delegates from nearly 200 countries, leaders of business and finance, and representatives of civil society gathered in Dubai from November 30 to December 12 for the COP28 climate conference with the aim of fast-tracking the transition to a clean-energy future.
