PM's annual report submitted to parliament

The annual report of Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has been submitted in written form to the parliament. The PM will deliver the report at the end of June, with the exact date to be finalized.

The report says that the Government of Georgia continued to develop effective, transparent and citizen-oriented public administration during the reporting period.

According to the government, significant progress has been made in the areas of digital governance, modernization of public services, and institutional strengthening.

The network MY.GOV.GE expanded with approximately 400 services accessible, while the geographical coverage of the land registration system across the territory controlled by the Georgian government exceeded 95%.

Public Service reform and regional development projects continued; various institutional and legislative reforms were implemented that served to strengthen the independence, transparency and efficiency of the anti-corruption system.

The document notes that in June 2025, the Government Efficiency Department was established, which monitors the implementation of projects, programs, state procurements, and tasks of the government.

The report mentions that steps forward were made in cybersecurity, the fight against organized crime, drug trafficking and illegal migration.

The annual report highlights economic growth and states that in 2025, Georgia stood out globally with its high economic growth, which amounted to 7.5%. In 2025, GDP exceeded 100 billion GEL, and GDP per capita amounted to 28,235 GEL – USD 10,297. The revenues from tourism hit a record amount of USD 4.7. Energy and transport infrastructure projects continued, with railway and Rikoti Pass development.

The document says that, regarding foreign policy, Georgia continues multi-vector cooperation and harmonization with the European Union. In parallel, it actively participates in regional and international projects. The country keeps a peace policy on occupied territories and humanitarian engagement programs.

In the defence sphere, air defence, intelligence, engineering and cybersecurity capabilities are developing; Unmanned systems are being introduced and modern management and communication infrastructure is being strengthened.
