CJSC "South Caucasus Railway" has announced the launch of a new international passenger route between Yerevan and Tbilisi. The train service will commence on September 3, 2024, significantly improving transportation links between the capitals of Armenia and Georgia.
In September, the train will operate every other day. Departures from Yerevan are scheduled for odd-numbered days of the month, while departures from Tbilisi will take place on even-numbered days. This schedule will allow passengers to plan their trips between the two countries more flexibly.
The company also announced that the popular summer route Yerevan-Batumi-Yerevan will continue to operate without changes until October 1, 2024.
For passenger convenience, detailed train schedules and ticket pricing information are available on the official railway website.
Tickets can be purchased in several ways: at the ticket offices in Yerevan, Gyumri, Vanadzor, and Armavir, as well as online through the company's official website.
