The Saburtalo District Administration is carrying out a comprehensive rehabilitation of Merab Aleksidze Street, along with works on parts of Berbuki and Tkvarcheli Streets, according to Tbilisi City Hall.
The project includes the construction of a drainage network, replacement of damaged water pipes, and the placement of communication networks underground. The total cost of the rehabilitation is 2.8 million GEL.
As part of the works, 15,000 sq.m. of asphalt will be laid, sidewalks arranged, and an outdoor lighting system installed. Zebra crossings will be equipped with ramps for people with disabilities and tactile paths, and new parking spaces will also be created.
