According to a statement from the Revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, goods and material assets damaged by the fire at Station Square market will be officially written off.
“The Revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance is ready to approve the write-off of goods and material assets destroyed by the fire at Station Square market in Tbilisi on April 30, 2025. This will be done upon application by affected entrepreneurs, who may request the write-off of goods and assets lost due to force majeure, without incurring service fees, within 10 working days,” the statement explains.
Furthermore, the Revenue Service emphasizes that by writing off these destroyed tangible assets, affected individuals will not face any tax liabilities related to the loss of these assets.
